Hometown heroes reigned as Seth King (-8) and Cynthia Ong (-2) of Corvallis each took home the 26th Oregon Public Links Championship at Trysting Tree Golf Club.
Seth King battled Jonathan Lai (-6) of Bend on Sunday afternoon - ultimately pulling away with a 32 on the back 9 that included an eagle on the par 5 14th hole. King currently competes for the Western Washington Vikings and was named to First Team All-GNAC for the 2022-2023 season.
Cynthia Ong defeated Tiffany Schoning (+2), also of Bend, to win the Women’s gross championship by four (4) shots. Ong has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Portland State Women's Golf team starting in the 2023-24 academic year.
The weather and course conditions were terrific at Trysting Tree Golf Club - thank you to the course, staff, and volunteers for making this a great event.
